Happy 2014!

Hi Friends! Sorry I hadn't posted anything in months :(  I had tendonitis and it hurt a lot to draw, but I went to therapy and now I'm back on track and excited to make a lot of new art!

Here's a little warm up doodle I made today to wish you all a happy 2014! I hope all your dreams come true and I also hope my friends and I all finish our films and portfolios this year hehe!

Happy 2014 from flower girl! :)

West temple

This is an illustration of the West temple that I did for a client. It's very different from what I usually do. I hope u like it!

little sketches from my sketchbook

These are from my sketchbook. I have a lot more, but I was only able to scan these two. I'll keep the rest for later :)

some life drawings

I've been taking Dave Lebow's class this semester and I've enjoyed it very much. It's been helping me draw a little better. These are not great, but I'm always embarrassed of posting my life drawings, so I will do it today for a change.

:)

My Searle in America contribution

Hi Friends! Pixar's story artist Matt Jones is curating a show called "Searle in America" which will be happening from November 16- March 30th at the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco! You all should totally check it out! There will be a lot of unpublished pieces by Searle!
This is my (Mexican) contribution to the show which will be in auction during the opening of the show on November 20th.

Here's the link to the website where you can read Matt's statement and find out more info:

watermelons

I did a little thank you card for my friend Rae because she's very sweet. So, I painted watermelons for her because I like green and red lately.
