I finally got a new sketchbook! (It's a beautiful Moleskine hehe) and I am so excited because it's a big motivation to draw and get inspired!
Also, last week I went to Oregon with my boyfriend and his lovely family and I did these little sketches. It was super fun and I really enjoyed it! It was nice and cold but not too cold, so perfect weather. I also ate lots of great food and met lots of great people. I can't wait to go back!
I got commissioned to do this a few weeks ago. A couple of things like the camera and the bracelets had already been designed and I just had to draw them in a different style. Cutsie things for looksy.com!
I just killed two birds with one stone.
Some of my stuff will be for sale at the print fair this Sunday. I will have a zine with my work and another one in collaboration with 2 other graphic designers! Stop by if you can, It's gonna be fun! Here's the link to the event on FB: PRINT FAIR
I've been working on my film so I haven't had much time to draw or paint, but here's a sketch of an illustration I will work on for the graphic design print fair at Calarts. I'll be sharing a table with my friend Pedro and Christina!
This is the link to PEDRO'S BLOG. Check it out! It's pretty c00l.
Here's a quick color study I did a while ago while I was in Europe. This was at the Keukenhof park in Holland which is absolutely beautiful and super inspiring! I am not a big fan of acrylic on canvas because the colors dry differently, usually more opaque. That's why I always use gouache, but I enjoyed doing this anyway. :)
