Girl at the beach

Hi! I was inspired by my recent trip to the South  (of Latinamerica)and did this GIF of a girl enjoying fresh coconut water at the beach . The GIF version looks a bit muddy, so I attached the original as well since I like colors and the quality better

Daisies

I drew some Daisies fine art.

I love this film with all my heart! It's just fun film and I like how it sums up so many things I like about being a young girl.

Water Nymphs

This is an illustration I did of some water nymphs! I did this in traditional media first (gouache, charcoal and watercolors) and then painted over it in photoshop with brushes that I made myself :)

 Hope you like it!

sad girl

Here's a drawing of a sad girl. I love experimenting with textures to create different effects. Hopefully the first of many! Also, the Caribbean girl that I posted below was my second attempt to experimenting with different materials :)

Hi!  I'm doing a few spreads on "the Caribbean", so there is so much to choose from! These are some explorations I did of very "tropical" Caribbean girls :)

Bath time

I did this background last year, but I decided to re-work it and so I added a character relaxing in the bathtub.  I miss swimming and bathtubs and steam rooms :(

thumbnails of México

I'm working on a Vis Dev spread for my portfolio of a group of (trouble makers) biker chicks, and I was thinking it would be cool if it was set in Europe. Like in those old towns with crooked streets and stone walls… and then I realized that where i'm from in México looks a lot like that because of the great influence of Spanish-colonial architecture.  So, yeah!  I'm still exploring the idea, but I will post more soon!

little sketches from my sketchbook

These are from my sketchbook. I have a lot more, but I was only able to scan these two. I'll keep the rest for later :)

some life drawings

I've been taking Dave Lebow's class this semester and I've enjoyed it very much. It's been helping me draw a little better. These are not great, but I'm always embarrassed of posting my life drawings, so I will do it today for a change.

Life sketches

I never really post my sketches from class, but I decided I'll make an effort to post more life sketches and development sketches as opposed to just the final pieces.  I hope you like them, friends!
